I suppose that's it, as long as there are no women around, everything seems fine. I notice so often on the news that, in items mainly from the Middle East, the only time you see children is with men and only men are interviewed. Western journalists don't seem to question it and don't insist on speaking with women.
Thank you for such an absolutely brilliant article. It is shocking to think there are so few entries pertaining to women on Wikipedia yet sadly not that surprising.
I am told that Wikipedia has been taken over by the usual suspects who have taken over everything else.
I had hoped to get a Wikipedia entry myself (mainly in order to correct some of the deliberate lies that had been written about me in the press) but they won't have me.
I’ve just watched a man of a certain age say he’s recently travelled in Afghanistan and thoroughly enjoyed his holiday “What’s all the fuss about?” Sadly there were no women around to tell him.
Excellent article which I would imagine the vast majority of people of either sex would agree with, not that the BBC or Lisa Nandy care to listen. What a disgrace. Hope you can publish your article far and wide.
'No taxation without representation' say I .... maybe we could do a licence fee boycott on those grounds. Lee Anderson was right to tear up his reminder letter.

Hi Penny,
Thank you for such an absolutely brilliant article. It is shocking to think there are so few entries pertaining to women on Wikipedia yet sadly not that surprising.
Keep up the good work
Best wishes

I'll get my own back one of these days!

Thanks, Penny, for your wit, which makes the truth of your comments a little less sad to read. The more things change, the more they remain the same…
Glad you noticed some wit, Diana! These topics are so heavy, it is often difficult to write about them. Humour makes it possible.
